Microsoft/Skype – what our CEO had to say … (No Comments »)

Skype is an important aspect of work and social life for many of the freelancers and businesses that use people4business. Many depend on the service to speak to clients and engage remotely working employees without a huge cost. So how might the merger affect your business?
Internet veteran and co-founder of icomplete.com, Stuart Hibbert, uses his experience to give some insight into the situation and the potential results.
“The recent acquisition by Microsoft of Skype is, I suspect, more strategic than anything. It seems the crux of the matter is that Microsoft feel threatened by Google Voice and have made this, perhaps too expensive, purchase in direct challenge to Google. Read more
Why Happy Hounds chose icomplete? (No Comments »)
We run a pet care business and use icomplete to provide online calendars for our staff to keep them informed of their appointments. We had been looking for a simple and affordable system for sometime and icomplete delivered on both counts.
The system is easy to use and required little training for our staff and is reliable. In terms of costs, icomplete are very good value particularly compared to Microsoft exchange. In addition the customer service and support has been excellent, which is the exception rather than the rule theses days.
Our main contact Myles Hantler is easy to reach and responds to e-mails and messages promptly. Another great benefit for us has been the ability to make small changes to the system at no extra cost and there is the potential to make larger changes if several clients ask for it or if you re prepared to pay for it.
The mobile version has also proved very useful. All in all I would have no reservations in recommending icomplete to other users.

Other features
|
I understand that there are a number of other features on this system for databases etc but these are not applicable for our business as we already have good database systems in place
