icomplete ‘BBC Radio Wiltshire’

Claire Hibbert was invited to talk to Tori Maurice the Business Editor & Presenter of BBC Wiltshire Radio this morning, to discuss how icomplete can advise and help small business survive in the current economic recession.  The hot topic was BT laying off 10,000 people and predictions that another 200,000 jobs throughout the UK will be lost by Christmas.  Quite depressing news for businesses, however Claire wanted to reassure businesses that there was still hope…

Despite companies running on skeletal staff and still hoping to give the same service to their customers there was a very simple solution - to outsource work. When we use the term outsourcing most of us think temping agencies (which is very expensive) or remote workers from other countries like India (which are unpopular because of the language barrier).  Instead there is a new way  of outsourcing which is the most cost effective way and that is to use a virtual assistant(s). The virtual assistant comes in many guises, a book keeper, PA, Administrator or Call Operator so you can choose what skill set you need at the time.  The beauty of this service is it on a pay as you go basis. So when a company is really feeling the pressure and the staff overstretched outsourcing some of the work can be done to a virtual assistant instantly so you, your staff or customer care will not be compromised.

The Virtual Assistant is a life line and the new way for small businesses to run in today’s economic climate when every penny counts.
