Recession spurs SMEs to increase their online marketing (No Comments »)

Enterprising Women announced that emarketing was a priority for small businesses in 2010.  Here is what they had to say:

” The financial pressures of the recession have seen a marked increase in smaller businesses bolstering their online presence, according to the 2009 Kleinwort Benson UK Entrepreneurs Survey.  The aim of cutting running costs and making more efficient use of marketing budgets appears led 76% of the survey’s respondents saying that they intended to increase the use of e-marketing in 2010″

icomplete Limited realised the power of e-marketing and the cost effective implications for small business owners and set about integrating an e-marketing tool into the service.  They recognised that by offering this additional service it will provide a unique service where customer data and e-mail campaigns reside in one place,  making it so much easier to send out newsletters, promotions etc by email and SMS.

The snow cloud - bring it on! (No Comments »)

As I look out at the wintery scene from my home office window and suffer pangs of guilt at not making it into the office for the second day running (did I really try hard enough?) my conscience is somewhat lightened by the fact that I have easily completed two days work and that I had to do it from home rather than the office was academic.

This is, of course, one of the principal advantages to the Cloud and one that seems to get lost in the various discussions and arguments – Business Continuity and the ease of working from anywhere as circumstances demand.

Snow Clouds save the day! (No Comments »)

The Federation of Small Business (FSB) estimated 20% of the UK’s working population, or 6.4 million people, did not make it to work over the last few weeks because of the snow!   It snows in the UK most years, so organisations should prepare for extreme weather.  However, this is never the case we always seem to get caught out.  This impacts hugely on small business owners, something they could do without - another thing to battle during the recession.

icomplete Limited are pleased to announce that their ’Cloud Computing’  service saved the day!  It kept the snow chaos at bay for many of our customers and this is how …

icomplete business applications are accessed online which means that you and your team can work from anywhere: home, abroad, or in the office.  You can use the service on your PC, laptop, Mac or mobile - it is like having your mobile office in your back pocket.  This means that whatever the weather you and your team can stay in touch and keep working, keeping you ahead of your competitors.

icomplete also offer a virtual phone service (auto receptionist) so that calls can be diverted to where you are so no more lost business through missed calls when you can’t reach the office because of the snow drifts!  You simply click a button in the system and the calls are re-routed to where you need them to.  It’s that simple.
